Hello Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador mamas and papas!
You are eligible for a free Baby Box if you are a Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador resident who has had or is having a baby after December 1, 2016.
We are commencing distribution of free Baby Boxes to parents via a simple 3-step program.
STEP ONE: REGISTER ON BABY BOX UNIVERSITY
The first step is to register on Baby Box University at www.babyboxuniversity.com as a Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador resident. Please note that we do not ship directly to your home at this time. We provide safe-sleep Baby Boxes through a network of provincial distribution partners. Our Baby Boxes comply with Health Canada's bassinet standard. Our Baby Boxes do come with free products for baby care and development, but the primary purpose of our program is to provide a safe sleep space for all infants regardless of socioeconomic status and to engage as many parents as possible in our supportive community.
Babies typically outgrow the Baby Box at around 6 months of age.
STEP TWO: GET YOUR COMPLETION CERTIFICATE
Your local health experts have been working hard to put together the information and activities they feel will best support you! Once you register on www.babyboxuniversity.com, please go to the drop down menu on the home page and select the appropriate course. This is how it will appear so that you have a visual guide.
CLICK “SIGN UP” IF YOU ARE A FIRST TIME USER OR “LOG IN” IF YOU ARE ALREADY REGISTERED.
SELECT THE APPLICABLE COURSE FROM THE DROP-DOWN MENU.
FOLLOW THE STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS AND COMPLETE THE COURSE.
The course will take approximately 10 minutes to complete online and, once finished, you will receive a completion certificate via email. Please keep this email. Alternatively, you may snap a screen shot of your completion certificate as a picture of the certificate will also be accepted by the distribution centers. To find the distribution center closest to you, please go to www.babyboxuniversity.com, click through your Course, and See Quiz Results.
STEP THREE: COLLECT YOUR BABY BOX
Baby Boxes will be available for pick-up in Newfoundland and Labrador starting January 28th and in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island starting January 30th. This means that you should show up at the center closest to you with your completion certificate on or after January 30th in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island and on or after January 28th in Newfoundland and Labrador. As always, we recommend calling your local center in advance to ensure staff is available during your preferred time.
Join our international community of Baby Box Co. parents!

Thank you for your support. We’re so pleased to be launching in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador this month and will be launching Baby Box initiatives in other provinces shortly.
